Here, Radha and Krishna play a role reversal. The fair skinned Radha is dressed in Krishna's yellow garb, a garland of wild flowers and a crown, holding a long stemmed lotus bud. The dark Krishna on the other hand is dressed in her ghagra-choli, concealing his face with the odhini. Their features, as seen in profile, appear sharp and clear.
The lotus pond in the foreground plays an important role like the other elements in the painting. The lotus buds, flowers and fan shaped leaves add much to the beauty of the miniature. The dense trees have branches of flowers suddenly emerging from them. The undulating hills are painted flatly. Vaporous and patchy clouds line the sky.
The artist has used brilliant colours for Radha and Krishna's clothing's complementing the rest of the greens and the blues.
