The couple is sitting on the ground, close together, with arms around each other. Radha hastens to hold the odhini that is slipping off her head. She looks shyly at Krishna who has raised his hand with finger pointing heaven wards, as if trying to explain to his beloved that their union is a divine play. Radha is dressed in a simple red skirt and choli with a crème coloured odhini. Her jewellery is simple, save for the foot ornament which covers her entire foot. Krishna, on the other hand wears a stone studded crown and numerous strings of gems and stones in his neck. His yellow dhoti and the green shoulder cloth are contrasted well with Radha's red attire. The blue bodied Krishna and the fair complexioned Radha are juxtaposed against a uniform mud brown background, with just a few bunches of leaves hanging on top, giving the impression of a tree close by.
