In a niche with a dark background stands this beauty with a wine casket in hand. Her body turns gracefully towards her left. Dressed in an Islamic long kurta and a loose salwar, she has her odhini wrapped around her upper body and covering the head. She is seductive in her simplicity and graceful in gesture. In her bent head, and downcast eyes, the artist manages to retain a soft an innocent look on her face. Concealed from head to toe, her face, hands and feet confirm her delicate structure. The woman is dressed in a simple manner but the casket she holds is richly carved and studded with stones.
The salwar, dupatta and the outer part of the niche is left white for the crackle effect to show best results.
