Sound Health is a balanced development of an individual's personality and emotional attitudes, which enable him to live in harmoniously with his milieu. It is only a fine tuning of biological equilibrium in our body and that can be achieved by doing Yogic effective practices and exercises, regulating dietary pattern and having a positive attitude towards ourselves and the surrounding.

All this need an efficient mechanism. The National Campaign is aimed to make the people aware to deal with diverse disorders and diseases that ramify the society. The Booklet on the occasion of National Campaign on Yoga and Naturopathy for Holistic Health has been designed by CCRYN to provide information to achieve sound health. through the practice of Yoga and Naturopathy. I am sure that the wide spectrum of this book will address the problems of the General Public at the very grass root level to lead a healthy living physically, mentally, morally, socially, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.
Man has come a long way with regard to achieve social, material, scientific and medical advancements Undoubtedly, these advancements have made our lives much more comfortable than ever before. However, on the other hand, this can also be not denied that along with comfortable lifestyle and material affluence, we have also inherited a large number of physical and mental disorders besides endless despair. The inventions of machines have made our lives sedentary thus depriving us of physical activity which is so essential for a healthy body and mind. Industrialization is causing air and water pollution resulting in several health problems. Processing of foods and drinks is robbing us of roughage so necessary for pushing out undesirable wastes and toxins from our body besides depriving us of essential minerals.
Our endless desires of having more and more, keep us always under stress that gives birth to innumerable physical and mental illnesses. Our materialistic trends have made us forget our spiritual values (that used to check us from wrong thinking and wrong doing).
It is true that many of our wishes are fulfilled in our lives yet happiness, health, peace and contentment eludes most part of our lives, no matter how many possessions we may acquire in our lives. Yogis believe that too often the happiness achieved by means of worldly possessions is short-lived and deceptive.
No doubt, scientific, technological and material attainments of modern man are highly commendable, so are the medical inventions. Nevertheless we remain most part of our lives, un-contented and suffer from quite a large number of health problems that are baffling, the sufferers and the scientists alike. Great thinkers and reputed medical doctors strongly feel that something radically has gone wrong with the way we live in this world of money and machines, which nothing else but the man himself can rectify.
