Dr. Vedavyas comes from a family of traditional Vedic scholars for seven generations. He received early Initiation into Vedas. Yoga, Astronomy, Jyothisha and Sanskrit and holds a Masters Degree in Zoology with specialization in Marine Biology. He was Professor in Zoology in Loyola College until he was selected into the prestigious "Indian Administrative Service" (IAS) 1959.

He was on a Lecture Tour to U.S.A. in 1985. He addressed the United Nations besides delivering lectures in major Universities in U.S.A. on the "Lost Verses of Bhagavat Gita" discovered by him. He also spoke about the discovery of a rare and unknown "Copper Plate Grant of King Janamejaya" of Mahabharata times dating to 3065 B.C.

He had authored 108 books on Veda, Yoga, Astronomy and Hindu Religion including the master piece titled "Hinduism in the Space Age" with foreword by Dr. Karan Singh Union Minister during Mrs. Indira Gandhi's regime as Prime Minister.

Dr. Vedavyas dedicated his life for spreading the wisdom of the ancient Rishis of India for welfare of entire mankind freely without any restriction. He established over 120 Yoga Centers beside four Temple Schools in India and abroad.

He is also an accomplished Painter, Sculptor, and Astrologer with a wide circle of Students and disciples. Indeed 'The Saint of Space Age!!!
