Folk art of Maharashtra about 1500 years ago, in villages of Maharashtra, lived the Warli tribes. These tribal people used to paint the walls of their mud houses with pictures of their daily lives, animals, birds, harvest, wedding, birthdays etc. they did not paint gods Et goddesses.
They used only one color - white, which was made out of rice flour. The motifs were basic geometric figures - triangles, dots, dashes and stick like hands and legs. This Warli painting is about a village scene.
Now you make your own warli painting, with picture of - your birthday party, family dinner or any other topic that you would like, on the blank sheet paper in the kit.
Instruction:
When using poster colors, First fill the two cards with warli outline. And practice to draw warli basic figures given in the leaflet inside. The make your own warli painting on the themes given inside. The painting can be framed or used as a bookmark later. To use natural colour, follow the instructions in the sachet to make white and colour and paint in the same order.
