What is my life worth? Success, failure: do they really count. Do people feel light or heavy in my company? My quest in life is to move from what you can do for me: to, what I can do for you.
FREDERIQUE LEBELLEY has worked as a writer and journalist since 1969. Her collaborations with Le Nouvel Observateur, her participation in creating the first ecological magazine Le Sauvage, have earned he the respect of her peers.
From 1977 until 1989, Frederique worked on a number of programmes for the French broadcaster RTL: on the current affairs programme Etrange, and later as a judicial reporter.
Having left RTL to concentrate on her writing, Frederique Lebelley scored success with a number of book: La Demente Religieuse; a biography of Marguerite Duras, ou le poids d’une plume; and Tete a Tete-de Foi, a series of portraits of French celebrities who integrate a spiritual dimension into their everyday lives.
Walking the path is the account of an experience Frederique has described as the most-powerful of her life: her time around Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, since their first meeting in 1995.
