Introduction

The book, NOBEL LAUREATES, in the series A VISION OF INDIA, features the six Indian Nobel laureates, who have made the country proud with their significant contributions in the fields of Literature, Physics, Medicine, Peace and Economics.

The book gives pen portraits of the Indian laureates who, either singly or jointly with other researchers, have been awarded the prestigious Nobel Prize in their respective fields.
