This is perhaps the best way I can describe this ancient revelation of sacred hymns. Vast, multi-faceted, multi-horizoned, protean, revealing dimensions upon dimensions within its all- encompassing expanse. Each moment its colors changing, from aquamarine to chartreuse, from sapphire to violet, from indigo to emerald, from russet dawns to golden dusks.
And each colour a broadband of knowing, cognizing, experiencing.
The Vedic rishis are the founders of our civilization. Without them, the Indian civilization would never have arisen in the first place, let alone taken the shape and form that it did. Modern India, too, in a sense is a creation of rishis such as Sri Aurobindo, who went into the very depths of ancient wisdom in their attempts to forge a new nation. This book is a tribute to the rishis, both of yore and of recent times the poorvebhih and the nootanai.
