Book Description
About The Book

Vedic literature is the core of Bharatiya Sanskriti and Sabhyatā. Vedas are a storehouse of infinite knowledge. The wisdom of the Vedas illuminates the entire world with its enlightening spirit-driving away the inner darkness.

The unprecedented glory of Vedic literature enlivens Bharatiya Sanskriti as a whole. To make our society aware of this rich culture and pride, an attempt has been made to integrate the various elements of the Vedas in this book.

An honest effort is made to present the various elements of Vedic literature including an introduction to Vedas, Vedangas as well as commentaries on Veda mantras.

The book presents a detailed account of the numerous institutions and their endeavour to preserve and promote the various teachings, learning, and research on the Vedas. It also sheds light on the essence of the Vedas as enshrined in the Preamble of the Bharatiya Samvidhāna. The sublime thoughts of the Vedas, and multi-faceted ways for the fulfilment of desires through the knowledge and recitation of the Vedas make this book a compelling read.

The book has been written from the perspective of the Vedas being the ultimate source of all knowledge and Sanskaras of the Bharatiya Sanskriti and hence, named Veda Kalpataru with the hope to prove to be a Kalpataru (a wish- yielding tree of the heavens) for the readers to attain and fulfil their wishes and goals.

Veda Kalpataru has been envisaged with great resolution to benefit not only the people of our nation but rather every person in the entire world, echoing the message of world peace. Students stand to benefit the most from this book as it brings forth the Vedas as a source of modern knowledge.

Foreword

The Vedas, the breathless creation of God, are a unique and great heritage for the entire world. This Vedic literature visualised by seers is relevant and important not only for Bharat but for the entire world. The Vedas have given the first sermon of civilization in the world. Veda is that vast amount of knowledge, which is true, eternal, and indestructible by its very nature. Maharshis have described Vedas as the source of all knowledge by saying "Sarvajnanamayo hi sah" (the knower of everything). The secrets of knowledge and science are hidden in the Vedas. Vedic literature is extremely useful in knowing the secrets of supernatural elements and also worldly subjects. Certainly, peace and goodwill can be achieved in the whole world by studying and studying the Vedas.

In the entire creation, man is knowledgeable and discerning. Both of these are the main means of achieving fourfold goals of human life (Dharma-Arth- Kama-Moksha). Knowledge and action are interconnected. Many types of instructions regarding human duties are found in the Vedas. Being a guide to the path of welfare for all, the importance of the Vedas as a promoter of welfare and knowledge, was there before, is there today and will remain so in future too. At present, only that determination, strength and devotion is required, through which maximum benefit can be derived from Veda Vidya. The grand palace of major schools of thought and priceless cultural traditions of India is established on the strong foundation of Vedas.

Vedas are a collection of words, the speech of God, so the Vedas are melodious, the vibration of Vedavani has the power to bring positive changes in the human brain and increase intellectual capacity. The glory of Vedic mathematics has been said to be the root of the mathematical power of Indians. The Indian way of life, which is known as Dharma, contains the complete science of life, it shows the life path for each individual. There is a huge science of life hidden in the basic pillars of our culture in the Vedic verses, in the Vedic mantras, in the Upanishads, and in the stories of the sages that are included. In the coming times, the understanding, definition and characteristics of consciousness are becoming most important in many fields of science.
