The gods needed animals to travel around the world and the animals needed the gods to learn how not be hungry. This was an amazing idea, thanks to goddess Saraswati. This is how vahana came into being.

Duvdutt Pattanaik Duvdutt Pattanaik loves to write, illustrate and lecture on the relevance of mythology in modern tiumes. He has since 1996, written over 50 books and 1000 coloumns for adult and children. Sasi Edavarad Sasi Edavarad is an eminent Mural Artist and a teacher. As a young child he was attracted by the intricate paintings of the temple walls. He began his study of Kerala Mural under the tutorship of Guru Sri M.K. Sreenivasan, Institute of Mural Painting, Guruvayur. He also Specializes in the utilization of natural colours procured from natural elements for use in Kerala Murals.
