The present volume is a very small amount of gurudaksina being presented to him by some of his students on the occasion of his 76th birthday. A striking feature of this volume is that most of the contributors are non-Indians. This is significant in so far as it reflects his wide fame reaching different parts of the world. It strikes a sad note that student and scholars of India in general and Maharashtra in Particular have not as much benefitted from him as the western world.
