Like each flower, each mantra of the Upanishad has its special fragrant meaning. Flowers are carefully chosen, oil extracted, then mixed, matched and processed to produce the perfect perfume. Swami Tejomayananda has skilfully and carefully picked the choicest of mantras, extracted their essence in the commentary, and composed them in a unique sequence to form the matchless scent of Advaita-Vedānta in 'Upanishad Vidya Saar'. The grace of the Guru and the churning of our study, reflection and realization will further enhance this scent and make our lives a fragrance of blessings to all, leaving within us a sense of completeness - pūrņam eva avaśiṣyate.
Nocturnal Doings: The night passes fast for some and is painfully slow for others who are awake. Some at night introspect and reflect, some pray and meditate, some regret and are sorry, and some are fearful and worried. Some weep and grieve, some plot and plan, and some have fun and dance. In the present day many net addicts keep awake til wee hours playing video games, watching movies or are o social media. I have found that night-time has given me good opportunity to pray and reflect.

Scriptural knowledge is limitless. Our life-span is limited and fraught with many challenges. Like the mythical swan (hamsa) who takes the milk from the water, we too should grasp only the essence and leave the non-essential.
Scriptural Knowledge is limitless: Knowledge is infinite as are the subjects of knowledge. It is impossible to know everything on the World Wide Web (www) which is only a fraction of all available knowledge. Every branch of knowledge, be it spiritual or material, is also vast and limitless. There are thousands and thousands of Indian scriptural texts, commentaries on them with commentaries d notes on those commentaries, with ever-growing nev oks written by thousands.
