I wish him every success in this endeavour and hope that it reaches every homoeopath in Bangladesh and abroad.
It is my great honour to contribute something to the literature of homoeopathy. This book is not complete nor a perfect materia medica. Instead, it is a concise compilation, prepared for easy understanding of some frequently used remedies, especially for beginners. The discussion of each remedy is limited to only five points, e.g., Appearance, Location, Sensation, Modalities, and Essence, to highlight some core and red-line indications of the remedy.
It is my first effort in writing something regarding homoeopathy. Inner love and passion for homoeopathy have driven me to engage in this audacious attempt. The learned homoeopath may find some imperfection in the book due to the writer's inadequate knowledge in this field. In this case, the writer is very open to receive any healthy criticisms. I firmly believe that readers' valuable criticisms will encourage me to strive to turn imperfection into perfection.
I offer my deep gratitude to Dr S.I. Husain and Dr Atikul Islam for writing forewords that have enriched the book, in terms of reliability, to a great extent.
Special thanks to B. Jain Publishers, for making the book available to the readers. I am also thankful to Dr Sheetal Panpalia and Dr Yogesh D Niturkar for reviewing the manuscript. They gave me valuable suggestions regarding the manuscript that helped me finalise the book.
I express my heartiest thanks to Dr. Arib Majhi (Kolkata), my great well-wisher and friend, whose ceaseless persuasion forced me to complete the job. Without his freehearted efforts, it was not possible to publish this book.
