"Kural" is a famous poetic text of the Tamil language. It is about two thousand years old "Tamil Veda" and is also considered "God's book". This book is highly respected among the Tamil-speaking people. The "Kural" contains sayings of Saint Thiruvalluvar, who is said to have been one of the greatest philosophers to have lived around the 1 century AD, Thiruvalluvar's message, as mentioned in the Kural is the message for all humanity and this message should be spread in present time. The excellence of his work has been appreciated by great scholars from all countries and 'Kural' has been translated into many languages, of which Latin, German, English, and French are prominent. One of the features of this book is that it was also adopted by our respected former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam as his favorite book and also translated it himself.
There are three chapters in this book - Virtue (Aram), Wealth (Porul), and love (Inbum). All these three topics are explained in detail in this book. Complete knowledge of how we can make human life beautiful and holy has also been provided. I don't think in any other book you can get such knowledge, with such clarity. All the knowledge about every subject has been provided in this book. By merely reading it, such communication of knowledge takes place in man, which gives man a complete understanding of the world and can also include him in the category of great men. We have made the closest Hindi translation of this Tamil book and have tried our best to make it easy for the readers.
If everything written in this book is understood properly, then you will not only feel infinite peace, but along with that, your intellect will also get stronger. If a person reads it and follows the things written in it, then probably no one can stop him from achieving success in his life because he will have a better understanding of every subject and a better understanding to handle every situation.
It is unfortunate that, while this priceless treasure trove of ancient Tamil texts has been appreciated by scholars in Western countries, little attention has been paid to such works by scholars in other parts of India. Hope others will appreciate this work created by us.
