J.L. Gupta 'Chaitanya' was born at Sultanpur (UP), in 1958. With brilliant academic career, he obtained PG.D.B.P (Editing) from the College of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi, with distinction. Earlier, he taught in private colleges and later he worked with publishers of Ideological books as a Sr Editor for more than two decades. His entire life is devoted to the cause of editing oriental works & writing on spiritual themes.

Mr. Chaitanya was drawn to spirituality from the childhood itself & studied most of the Indian scriptures from enlightened masters. He was initiated to the discipline of Kundalini Yoga in early ninety's. Satisfied with his dedication and steadfastness in Sadhana, Rev'd Guru Swami Ramsurati conferred on him the title of Acharya. Specialized in the practice of Chakra meditation, he provides guidance in Yoga, spirituality & Sanatana Dharma He is also a social worker & editor of a social magazine. As a prolific writer on various aspects of India's eternal culture, Sanatana Dharma, Yoga and Kundalini, he has more than 40 books to his credit. He has also written a number of poems on Yoga and spirituality both in English and Hindi Most of his books have been published by Chaukhamba Sanskrit Pratishthan, New Delhi Perman Publishers Delhi, Indo-Us Books New York and Swami Ramananda Ashram Trust, Rishikesh, Besides the present one, his book titled "The Healing Power of Yoga and Kundalini Tantra Path to Wellness & Enlightenment was published in 2010 and became a bestseller.

योगेन चित्तस्य पदेन वाचा मलं शरीरस्य च वैद्यकेन । योऽपाकरोत्तं प्रवरं मुनीनां पतञ्जलिं प्राञ्जलिरानतो ऽस्मि ।। With folded hands I bow to the Great Sage Patanjali, who annihilated the impurity of Chitta by Yoga, impurity of voice by Sanskrit grammar, and impurity of body by Ayurveda. Yoga is an essential part of modern civilization. It is considered a global phenomenon and has a substantial base in science. Scientists today admit that the intrinsic organic health of a human being is of prime importance along with the outer development of the body. Indian Rishis and Yogis had realized it thousands of years ago. Yoga, as all of us popularly know, literally means 'union', union with the higher, the divine or whatever name we give. Indian culture has it to remind that the human incarnation is a rare privilege and should not be frittered away in the pursuit of physical pleasures and material gains. Life is a precious gift of God. Vedas proclaim that 'we are sons of divinity'- Amritasya putrah (अमृतस्य पुत्राः). Human life, being most perfect creation of God, should be utilized to get rid of worldly bondage. Yoga, for our life, is a potent power for the spiritual regeneration.
