Book Description
About the Book
Based on centuries old handwritten / printed manuscripts, volume I describes introduction of Islam in Kashmir followed by different Sufi orders and the local Reshi order.

Volume II IS based on a 150 year old handwritten Persian poetry manuscript describing the biographies of several saints of Kashmir including the miracles performed by them from time to time.

Volume III describes the biographies of these saints and their preceptors, along with their spiritual/family lineages extending up to past about 14 centuries. Besides, copies of several handwritten manuscripts are reproduced at the end.

About the Author
Born in Srinagar Kashmir in December 1942, educated in Jammu and Kashmir University, and passed Degree Engineering in 1963 with Honors Grade from Annamalai University South India, served in PWD J&K State for 40 years and retired as Chief Engineer in 2003, presently Consultant Engineer, Chartered Engineer (India), Fellow Institution of Engineers India, Life Member Indian Road Congress, Member American Society of Civil Engineers, travelled in India and abroad, authored/compiled over 3V books, presented over V 0 papers in various seminars, freelance writer.
