From a long time human being is full of turmoil and unrest. Innovations in transportation and communication have broadened our horizons. Economic fluctuations and inflation have made drastic changes in our life. Because of these changes whole system of integration have been thwarted, which are creating an unusual tension in our life. In the whole world frustration is increasing on and on Scientists, Technologists, Sociologist, Psychologist and other scholars are trying their best to maintain the human relationship and feelings of brotherhood, but all is futile. On account of these diversities people are drifting away from their Constructive and creative goals of life.

The present study is mainly concerned with certain traits of Personality, Values and Religious attitudes of college going urban and rural male-female students belonging to different levels of socio-economic status. Students of present day have number of problems which are affecting them in each and every sphere of life. Though, number of studies have been made in this direction to measure certain aspect of Personality, Values and Religious attitudes of college going students, but the present study in its certain purview of variables is like a mile stone which will furnish the present state of knowledge and will be helpful to give some concrete results to bring the peace, harmony and sweetness in the Society.

Dr. Pratibha Dadoo was born in Dibai, U.P. in 1963. She did her M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology. A rare combination of intellectualism and activism her activities are "Pradhan"- Gram Panchayat Bhovapur Master Nagar, Simbhaoli, District Ghaziabad (U.P.). She is also Incharge of Cultural Activities, Lions Club, Gajraula, U.P., Vice President Women Cell, Congress-I Ghaziabad District, Kala Convenor, Sanskar Bhariti, Hapur, U.P. Her fields of interest are Writing, Music, Drawing, Cultural activities. Her residence address is Dadoo Bhavan, Simbhaoli, District Ghaziabad, U.P.
