The Author had compiled a hand written account of the teachings of his revered Guru Acharya Swami Hariharananda Aranya on 'Yogadarshana' during his stay in summer and Puja vacations at 'Kapil Ashrama' in Triveni, Hooghly, West Bengal. Acharya Swamiji, around 1926-27, published this account as 'Yoga Sopan' (Stepping Stone). 'Yoga Sopan' is a brief summary of the Yoga Philosophy of Patanjali explaining the true interpretation of all the yoga aphorisms in a substantial, yet simple manner following the commentary of Vyasa. Since the first edition, the book has had three more editions, each being enriched with additional useful materials. Yoga Sopan methodically lays down the logical steps for those who aspire for and are inquisitive about inner peace.
