The most powerful means of receiving God's grace is through the worship of Mother Goddess. Seeing Devi in the form of Durga or Chandi is not merely a philosophy, rather it is a practical life science. The Mother Goddess is the portrait of compassion and kindness, an ocean of forgiveness, and the embodiment of maternal love. She is both destroyer and protector. The cosmos operates on her behest. Happiness, prosperity, success, peace and wisdom are easily attained through her worship.
In 2011, to commemorate the establishment of Sannyasa Peeth at Paduka Darshan in Munger, Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati took a resolve to conduct a year-long havan dedicated to Goddess Durga. This Durga Stotra Mala is the prasad of that anushthana, being offered with Swamiji's good wishes and blessings for auspiciousness in life.
The concept of Devi Ma, Mother Goddess, and Her worship has existed since the beginning of creation. In the vedic and tantric traditions the Mother Goddess is eulogized and worshipped in many forms. Even though a multitude of goddesses are worshipped in India, whether in the form of Durga, the remover of obstacles; Kali, the destroyer of time and arrogance; Saraswati, the deliverer of knowledge and wisdom; Lakshmi, the bestower of peace, plenty and prosperity; or Jagadamba, the ruler of the universe; ultimately they are all different manifestations of one, unified supreme element.
