The self-evident Vedic Literature which emanated from the breath of the Supreme Lord is Amnaya. All the Acharyas tried to give to the world the secret of this Amnaya. Finally Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the Redeemer of Kaliyuga, taught the secrets of this Amnaya Siddhanta to His Parshada Devotees Viz. Shadgoswamis of Vrindabana and they wrote hundreds of books based on the Teachings of the Lord. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's teachings are esoteric, scientific and absolute principles. In his instructions Sri Chaitanya explained the true esoteric concepts from the scriptures known as – Sambandha (Eternal relationship) Abhidheya (Direct application) and Prayojana (Ultimate necessity).
By the sweet Will of the All Merciful Lord, His eternal devotee Srila Sacchidananda Bhakti Vinode Thakur gave to the fast running world this Vedic knowledge in eleven shlokas called DASHAMULA. The Dasha Mula Tatva is a central work of Vaishnavism and the blueprint of the Thakur's blessed teachings with which all spiritual aspirants should be deeply familiar.
In this booklet Srila Bhakti Vinode Thakur discussed in the first the knowledge in the form of scriptural conclusions. Vedas are the principal scriptural evidence, which in turn expound the following nine principles. 1. Krishna is the Supreme Absolute Truth. 2. Krishna is Omnipotent. 3. He is the fountainhead of all relationships and Love 4. The living entities are his separate parts. 5. The living entities due to their constitutional situations as the marginal energy, may come under the sway of the material energy. 6. Again due to their marginal nature, the living entities in the liberated condition are free of the influence of material nature. 7. The living entities and everything in this material cosmos are simultaneously one and different from the Supreme Lord Krishna. 8. Pure Devotional service is the living entity's occupation and means. 9. Pure love of Krishna is the living entity's ultimate goal.
How Thakur Bhakti Vinode graciously broughtout these basic principles from the Vedas. Bhagavadgita, Srimad Bhagavatam and from Sri Chaitanya Charitamritam, the following chapters explained.
When I requested our elder God – Brother H.H. Sripad Bhakti Saurabha Narayana Maharaj, Who stays at Hyderabad, to translate this "Dashamula Tattva" immediately he kindly gave this English translation. I am very happy to present this small booklet to the readers and I hope to bring out the elaborate version of this booklet in future edition.
We hope the learned and respected readers will enjoy the ambrosia flowing out of this Dashamula.
