This book is an effort to talk about the various forms of iconography of Siva like symbolic (Trident), the riomorphic (Bull & Linga) and anthropomorphic (human form).Author also talks about Siva with his consort Parvati (Shakti) and Karttikeya on the ancient Indian coins. It is not possible to understand Siva without knowledge of his attributes like Nandipad, Taurine symbol, Mountain with Crescent, Damaru, Snake etc. Siva undoubtedly enjoyed the most favoured position among all the deities.
