This critical edition has the following important aspects
Analysis of around 10-12 different manuscripts to determine the correctness of the passages. The references from the relevant manuscripts have been mentioned in this edition in places where the readings are divergent. Wherever the readings are different in different manuscripts, all the relevant commentaries for those passages are read to determine the exact passage. For e.g. It is well known that Advaita Siddhi of Madhusudana Sarasvati has done an extensive critical scrutinization of the Nyayamrita. While doing so, he has quoted the Nyayamrita passages verbatim. These have been used in choosing the correct passage from multiple manuscripts and editions. In one way, we are grateful to Madhusudana Sarasvati for composing the Advaita Siddhi, since while trying to do a critical examination of the Nyayamrita passages; we can find almost every sentence of Nyayamrita quoted before starting the analysis. This has helped immensely in deciding the exact sentence/word that was originally present in Nyayamrita, unlike in other commentaries (e.g. Amoda of Sri Vijayendra Theertha,) where only the difficult passages are elucidated.
Yet another difficulty faced during the creation of this edition was the divergent readings of the original text of Nyayamrita present in the commentaries of Tarangini, Laghvaamoda and Kantakodhara. These differences are quite shocking and astonishing given that all the authors were almost contemporaries of Sri Vyastheertha.
