This book explains the scientific discovery of Ultimate Natural Law or Moral Law and opens a lively debate on the power of law courts leading to the settlement of Ayodhya dispute, durable global peace, 'enduring freedom' and socio- economic justice to all. It is extremely helpful in understanding the relation of science to social science, law and religions and very useful to the students and teachers of human rights and value education at both college and school levels.
Dr. Surendra started his career as Lecturer in Ranchi University in the early 1960s. He was appointed Central Civil Service Class I Officer by President of India and posted at Dhanbad in 1964 in the Department of Applied Geology, Indian School of Mines. He left the ISM in 1998 after a chequered career for over three decades and prepared a project named 'National Centre for Synthesis of Science and Religion' for KSD Sanskrit University Darbhanga and acted as its Hon. Director.
During his stay at the ISM, he piloted a number of academic programmes, produced PhD degree holders and performed in various capacities. It is notable that, for his revolutionary research and constitutionally consistent duty- performance, he was ill-treated like Galileo persecuted with harsh punishment by the ISM Administration, and arrested and accused of sedition by Darbhanga Police. He has been the staunch opponent of arbitrary and authoritarian rule in constitutional India, champion of human equality, popularizer of scientific temper, pleader of academic freedom in research, blender of science and spirituality, and scientific interpreter of constitutional law and order. He has published more than a dozen books and pamphlets and innumerable papers and leaflets to advance his cause.
