center>Foreword
HOLISTIC PHILOSOPHY society was started in the year 1987 at Calcutta in the name of INNER LIGHT ASSOCIATION.
Its name was converted as INSTITUTION OF RELIGIOUS SCIENCES. on 21st May 1992.
Again the name was changed into HOLISTIC PHILOSOPHY SOCIETY and registered as a Trust in April 2002, in Chennai.
Prof. Bhimarao Sathyanarayanan, Physics Lecturer and a well known writer and Philosopher is the founder of the Society.
The purpose of the society is to study the undefined otherness on the basis of science. But, there is a limitation to Science. The TRUTH has neither beginning nor end (Anadhi and Ananth). But Science has both. The question before a Holistic Philosopher is. What is Prior to Science and what is Beyond the realms of Science?
Holistic Philosophy tries to find an answer to these questions and one can find an answer on the basis of the POSTULATES of any theory. The postulates are the key factors enjoining both Science and Philosophy.
The function of HOLISTIC PHILOSOPHY is simplified to the job of analysing each and every postulate of Science especially Physics and correlate it to any religious theory thus finding a common ground of study.
