About the Author

K. Ramakrishna Warrior Born in village in Thrissur Dist., Kerala, on 28th May, 1973, had secondary school education in his native village. He learnt Hindi and passed Rashtrabhasha visharad examination. Worked as a Hindi teacher in a high school for some time, Sri warrior left for Bombay. While Working with commercial firms, he passed M.A. B. Examination by attending part-time classes. While working with a German company, he learnt the German language and passed Diploma examinations in German. During the course of his career, he wrote several poems in Malayalam and Published books. After Retirement from service at the age o sixty, took up study of Sanskit with the help of self instructor books. Gradually he started writing Sanskrit poems in the simple Anushtup metre. So far, five books of such poems have been published including the present one and another two are under publication. Out of the above books, two are translations, one of which is the translation of Rabindranath Tagore’s Gitanjali. Four books of poems related to life history of Sri Sankracharya, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Swami Vivekananda and Swami Chinmayanands, the present one. Now also Sri Warrior is engaged in writing Sanskrit verses.
