Dr. Pathak studied Kudiattam form of theatrical presentation of Kerala under Late Mani Madhavan Chakyar of Ottapalam. (iii) Srngara kavya of Shankara
(iv) Kamasara of Kamadeva
(v) Natya Pradeepa of Sundara Misra
(vi) Catura Cintamani of Ganadhara Misra
First four of these have been published by M/s Choukhambha Sanskrit Sansthan- Varanasi. The last two are under publication of M/s Choukhambha Sanskrit Sansthana and Asiatic Society-Kolkata respectively. Shri Milind Gadkari is a retired Banker. By a quirk of circumstances he was drawn towards spirituality in the year 2013/14. He is treading on this path since then as shown by his guru.
He visited 'Rama Krishna Mission Ashram' in Kolkata, a few years back and he chanced upon a book on the subject "Mukti o, tahar sadhan" in Bangali language. He was overawed by the popularity of the book. He decided to bring out an English Version of this book so that a large Section of non Bengali Populace benefits from it.
Now that the book in English language is going to come out in the very near future, he firmly believes that Almighty had willed it to be so and as a result the book is going to see light of the day.
Pujyapada Swamy Hiranmayanand Ji Maharaj has kindly written the introduction to it with its features specially brought out there in.
Rama Krishna Deva had himself used this work and he also taught it to young men seeking salvation. I hope this publication will be considered invalueable by his disciples and seekers of Salvation.
The compiler of this book has endeavoured to show that salvation of soul is the sole objective of human life. In support he had quoted proofs from Vedas ancient law books, and from works on philosophy, Puranas and works on Tantra. Those who do not want to come anywhere near the path of Salvation have been termed as "Manushya- garbha-jata Gardhbha" by the author of Yogavashishtha. And one who is free from rebirth is called "Satya-Jata", such a man is the repository of all that is beneficial for this world. His holiness Rama Krishna also said "the objective of human life is to attain God", and that is the reason he used to instruct all the seekers of salvation to read this book.
On the occasion of the one hundred and fifty year of the auspicious appearance of Shri Rama Krishna, this work which was extensively used by him during his "life time" is being republished without making any change/ amendment for the benefit of public in general. All those who are well.
