Book Description
Introduction

In a few centuries of the advent of Christianity in Goa, inveterate enemies of our people, devastators of our honour and properties, plunderers of our temples, were sanctified and elevated to the altar, placing them for our adoration and various means were used to impose their cult upon us. These were persons who were instrumental in setting in motion usurpers and rogues who set fire to our temples in peaceful nights, thus violating our religious tenets, crucifying our brothers on account of their faith, confiscating our properties and houses, abusing and molesting our women folk.

....Ah what more unrecorded horrors!

... And now our own brothers are now preaching to us, exhorting us to adore them, to celebrate feasts for them and to propagate their infamous Sanctity! These are our brothers who do not merit any other name than "denationalised children". Yes! They do not deserve any other name as they have disowned their own national parentage and adopted the claims of an alien-foreign descent. They are taking advantage of the ignorance of their fellow-countrymen, inciting them to adore the enemies of their ancestors, oppressors of their forefathers and the enemies of their faith, honour and heritage.

Such is the case, for example, of the worship of the so-called Saint Francis Xavier and the cult of so-called devout Martyrdom of his followers of Concullim.

Recently, a priest complained in news media that the people of Concullim did not have much devotion for those Martyrs. As if to foster in them such devotion for their sanctified enemies, this priest is publishing leaflets and pamphlets of propaganda wherein fistfuls of mud are flung on the "uncivilized" people who acted in compliance of their duty of defending their sacred heritage and legacy of religious liberty inherited from their forefathers. On the other hand, those "Martyrs" who burnt their devalayas, houses and properties are glorified by him.

Such spurious propaganda should not go unchallenged with impunity when there are crude naked facts that unmask the malicious misrepresentation of facts and the sequence of events. Unfortunately for such propagandists, these facts were recorded and narrated by those belonging to their own sect and much honoured by it.

These facts brought out in the following pages have been, almost in toto, extracted from "Orient Conquistas-a Jesus Christo" by Jesuit Priest Francis de Souza, and throw light on the whole sequence of events of the so-called general conversions and baptisms carried out in the period. The propagandist-lies unravel even in the printing of the "Ecclesiastical gazette of Archdiocese of Goa" and its successive editions.

While scribbling these lines, I know well that the Roman Catholic God has the supreme power to make his believers close their eyes to intelligence and logic, blinding them to the truth, however many facts I cite, whatever the arguments I produce in support of my thesis that these so-called "Saints"should forfeit the honour of being sanctified as saints. Therefore I leave this job to others, to those who "don't suffer from being blind of intelligence", because what I am going to show is so evident that it will rapidly open the eyes of only those who are gifted with the power of being able to bear witness to Truth.
