Prof. P. George Victor (born: 1953) Professor of Philosophy, and FounderDirector, Centre for Religious Studies, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam hasbeen teaching Sankara Vedanta, and Western Philosophy for the post-graduatestudents for more than two decades.
He has participated in many seminars in India and abroad. He has organizedthe 'First National Seminar on Teaching Philosophy in India' in association withthe editors of Teaching Philosophy journal, USA sponsored by ICPR during March1998. His major published works include 'Social Philosophy of Vedanta', 'Lifeand Teaching of Adi Sankaracarya' and 'Moral Science'.
Dr. S.D.A. Joga Rao (born: 1953), Associated Professor of Philosophy, AndhraUniversity, took his Ph.D. Degree from Andhra University, which is adjudged asthe best thesis of the year, During his research period he had the prestigiousIndian National Science Academy Fellowship. Basically he is interested inPhilosophy of Science and Indian Philosophy.
