Whenever one is grief-stricken or in wretched condition, Sai says to pay the debt to the deity or Sadguru for solving the problem. One may pay off one's debt by offering Dakshina in the form of currency, fruits, sweets, or any other way. Sai emphasizes the concept of Dakshina as it inculcates the qualities of submissiveness, reverence, sacrifice, dedication, and spiritual upliftment in the devotee. If one is associated with this holy practice of giving Dakshina, one will get back material and spiritual wealth in multiplied forms. As much as one offers Dakshina and meditates on Sai, Baba will return and increase the happiness and peace of the devotee a hundred times.
