The Sage of Kanchi hailing from the great Adi Sankara Bhagawadpada lineage has been one of the most admired and re- vered saints of the country. He has never crossed the oceans. But His vibrant glories and graceful benedictions have benefitted the entire humanity all over the globe.

Maha Periyava was a firm believer in the Vedic dictum that Truth is one and strongly advocated inter-religious solidarity. Not only commoners but also people at the helm of affairs from many walks of life, status and stature have admitted the greatness of this Sage Unparalleled. Truly, 'There is no Religion at the Top'. Hence, the volume of His devotees and admires from other faiths also.

Many books have been published in the past, hailing HIS divinity and many would sure line up in the centuries to come also. How-much-so-ever be written about this saintly Avatar, more will be less, always prompting some more to be written. For, even an jota of HIS paada dhooli (dust under the feet) is sufficient enough to rewrite 1000 years of wrongly progressed human history and the karma we accumulated in our 14 previous births.

With the above in mind, this book is published as an humble token of service dedicated at the Eternal Holy Lotus Feet of Maha Periyava. HE has been a living legend extolling the benefits of chanting Rama Naama. To recollect and retell his Vibrant Charitam in a handy book form is also a devout attempt to adhere to the path of Sanatana Dharma laid by him smoothly and led by HIM as a towering ex- ample.
