This is giving me immense pleasure to foreword the first edition of "RECENT TRENDS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF FISTULA IN ANO (BHAGANDARA)". I would like to congratulate Dr Rajeev Kumar for the completion of this book. He belongs to a rare breed of surgeon who has mastered the art of excellence of surgery and teaching at a very young age. While going through the contents of this book I found it to be very comprehensive and concise for the topic fistula in ano. It presents a practical approach on Ksharsutra for postgraduate students, clinicians, research scholar etc. I am sure more and more students will find this book beneficial. Let me wish that there will be several more editions to come each one better than previous.
