Rangi and An Unknown Man is part of the efforts of the Yoga Institute Santacruz t promote experience based education to students. The Institute now in its sixty-eight year has worked out a detailed programme for children to help in growing up healthy-physically mentally and more. Work on this was undertaken way back in 1957 when the Government as a Special Training and Research Institute recognized the Institute. Some schools undertook to study its programme and popularize it. Research studies were carried out by qualified psychologists, physicians etc. Recently the Syllabus is being studied in depth by some well-known Educational Research bodies of the country. The results so far have been positive and encouraging.
The institute proposes to continue this effort. It has published a work on experience-based education to motivate parents. A book for teachers is also published.
