No attempt has been made to enumerate all the miracles of Ramana Maharshi which happen every day. Since such an attempt would be futile for the list is long as the devotees are innumerable. Therefore the book covers only thirty first person authentic accounts of such miracles.
Ramana is informed by telegram about the serious illness of a child and his intervention is sought. The response comes even from the very moment of despatch of the telegram. Subbarmayya's 'Reminiscences' are replete with such instances. Many marriages have been settled in Bhagavan's hall. What happened in the case of daughters of Manavasi Ramaswami Aiyar, Munagala Venkataramayya and Narayana lyer bears this out. Taking Ramana's name, one starts a business and the goddess of wealth keeps smiling. There is no stopping the success story. A devotee is stranded and friendless in Teheran airport and some strangers come along to befriend, to look after. A singer devotee who thoughtlessly grips the mike to test it is nearly electrocuted.
