This book is a small attempt to bring the wisdom and knowledge of Indian Culture and link it with modern times. Rahim full name was Abdul Rahim Khan-e-Khan, a Navratna of Mughal Emperor Akbar. He was a great solider and warrior on one hand and also a great scholar and poet on the other hand. He was contemporary of Tulsidas and had conversation with him time to time. Although we all studied Rahim in school days but this book is a humble attempt to connect it with entrepreneurship, which I am teaching for some years now. I have selected only 50 Dohes or couplets from his vast writing and tried to connect with some lessons for new and existing Entrepreneurs.
Prof (Dr) Sanjeev Chaturvedi is a Graduate in Economics, MBA in Marketing Management and has done his M.Phil in International Business, He has been awarded Ph.D in Economics on the topic "Strategic Posture of Small & Medium Enterprises Under WTO Framework". He has many papers to his credit in the field of International Economic Environment & WTO which has been published in Harvard University, Cambridge University & IIM-A Conferences to name a few. He was the only Asian selected for CDG, Germany fully paid scholarship for higher studies in the field of International Marketing. He has written 3 books in the Area of Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Dr. Chaturvedi has total 31 years of experience 18 years of Industry and 13 years of Academic experience. In industry he has worked at senior positions in Lan Eseda Industries Ltd, Engineering Export Promotion Council (GOI Undertaking), PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry etc. During his academic journey he has served as Associate Dean at IILM-Business School-New Delhi, Professor at Amity University, Noida, Dean at Symbiosis Centre of Distance Learning Group, Pune and as Chief Academic Officer at NGASCE, NarseeMonjee University, Mumbai. He was a visiting faculty at California State University, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, USA and Birkbeck University, London, UK on a regular basis. Before joining EDII he was working as Director-National Institute of MSME Hyderabad. (under Ministry of MSME.GOI). He was working as Sr. Faculty/Professor and Chairperson -PG Program at EDII, Ahmedabad and have joined as Advisor at Tashkent-Uzbekistan at India Uzbekistan Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IUEDC) a Ministry of External Affairs .GOI project since Octorber,2020. His area of interest is Entrepreneurship and International Business.
