Biswajit Sinha is a theatre scholar who holds Master's degree in two disciplines with professional training in 'Acting' from the Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, New Delhi. .
Presently working on contemporary theatre in Santali, Mizo, Garo, Lepcha, Kokborok, Bodo languages etc., the author has written prolifically on classical and modern Indian theatre, with over fourteen published works. To his credit goes the First Encyclopaedic Series on Theatre, his singular contribution to the field. .
Author has the distinction to restore and organise the Private Collections of the Former Deputy Prime Minister of India.
