You have now to make the character of Mahavira your ideal. As on the one hand Hanuman represents the ideal of service, so on the other he represents leonine courage, striking the whole world with awe. He has not the least hesitation in sacrificing his life for the good of Rama. Such whole-hearted devotion is wanted.

There is a belief that man may think about God and higher values of life in his old age. Experience has proved that this is foolish because man cannot concentrate his mind when his body and sense-organs are weak. Therefore, he has to try to practise virtues from his boyhood itself. Society has to see that youth do not waste their energy in wrong channels. It is the duty of all of us to provide healthy, noble literature to our younger generation.

Tulasidasa does not need any introduction. His Ramacharitamanasa is world famous. In the book DOHAVALI, he gives noble ideas to spiritual aspirants. As he is a humble person, he says that these are instructions to his own mind. But, we can understand that these teachings are helpful to the whole humanity.

We are happy to present QUEST FOR WISDOM which is a simplification of the above book. We hope that our young friends would make use of this work. Also, we are thankful to all those who have helped us in this venture.

Tulasidasa does not require any introduction from anybody. He is not only a great poet, he is a deep thinker also. In his book Dohavali, we find solutions to many of the problems faced by us. He is a humble person, therefore he does not advise others. His teachings are directed to his own mind. But intelligent readers will not fail to know that those teachings are valid even today.
