Shri Madan Lal Seth, at present Chief Advisor to the Pearl Group of Industries is a chemical technologist who has distinguished himself as an industrial entrepreneur in such fields as chemicals, fertilizers, electro-chemicals and polymers. He has also been associated with electrothermal industries. His career spans over four and a half decades.
A post-graduate in chemistry (M.Sc.Tech), he is a member of several chemical societies in India and abroad.
Besides being an Executive Director of DCM, Shri Seth is associated with the following Government and private bodies:
Invention Production Board; Shriram Institute for Indus trial Research; Labour Advisory Board: Wages Advisory Board, Ministry of Labour: All India Management Associa tion: All India Manufacturers' Organisation (Delhi State Board): Indian Chemical Manufacturers' Association, Calcutta: Development Council for Organic Chemical Indus tries.
Shri Seth represented India at the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Geneva Conference as the Employers' representative.
Widely travelled. Shri Seth is deeply religious who believes that self-reliance is enhanced through spiritual knowledge and training, of which meditation forms an Important part. In his view, religion is necessary for building up character, fearlessness, love, service, dedication and peace.
