There are many books on Nakshatras or lunar mansions of the Moon available in the market. Most of these books contain voluminous and theoretical details on Nakshatras including Nakshatra deities, symbols, tattvas, desires and body parts represented by each nakshatra. These books provide a good solid background about nakshatras but do not explain the reader how to utilize this knowledge. At the most, these books will describe characteristics of the native based on their Nakshatra (in most cases taken as Nakshatra occupied by Moon). They ignore the Nakshatra occupied by other planets.

In this book we intent to cover predictive techniques based on each Nakshatra. As is evident from the name, we will be covering techniques of prediction using nakshatras. These techniques were first revealed by 5aptarishis Astrology through 5aptarishis Facebook groups which include:

• 1st Batch Predictive Nakshatra- Russian Group

• Scptorishis Astrology European Research Group

Readers who are connected with Saptarishis astrology groups were asked to test these techniques and post the examples. Readers from different parts of the world contributed various examples for these techniques. This book is the outcome of this research. Unlike other books in the market, we have also included examples where the technique is not working. We acknowledge contribution of people who have contributed to this research and express our gratitude towards them. We have modified original posts from contributors to eliminate any typos, short-forms and grammatical mistakes.

Due to the size restriction, this book is divided into 3 parts (each containing techniques related to nine nakshatras). This part contains first nine nakshatras - from Ashwini to Ashlesha. Each part is self-contained and can be read without reference to other parts.

After reading one or more techniques, many educated readers may test a particular technique on a few charts and may find that the technique is not working. However, it should be kept in mind that these are yogas (combinations) and other factors in the rashi chart should support these yogas or these techniques may be applicable in specific divisional charts. Most of the work for this book was completed by able hands of Nidhi Sharma Raj and Vidhan Pandya. They have compiled the data, created charts and added explanation for each example included in this book.

Most of the charts used in this book are created using Jagannatha Horo (also known as JHorn) versions 8.0 and Saptarishi Astrology's proprietary software (charts without proper birth details). All charts are created using Traditional Lahiri Ayanamsa. LMT is used wherever applicable.

Source of birth details - for celebrity charts, birth details and facts are taken from Astro.com (Astro Databank). We have also used facts available on Wikipedia.org for public figures. We have also included lot of personal charts which were shared by followers/readers of Saptarishis astrology Facebook groups. We have listed down the Facebook name of all contributors (as it appears on Facebook).

For the benefit of the readers, we have included 2 appendices in this book. Appendix 1 - Relatives in Astrology, provides list of relatives which can be seen from a person's chart. Appendix 2 - Quick Reference which is a listing of all techniques, it also includes corresponding Nakshatra Study number for these techniques. Reader should be able to map each of these techniques to a Nakshatra Study as posted on Saptarishis Facebook groups/pages. Appendix 3 has been created as a ready reckoner which can be torn and kept in ones bag and studied so as to rote memorize these techniques.
