Present book titled "Prasuti Tantra Sandarshini" is a first part of series of two books. This book is about Prasuti Tantra (Obstetrics) second part is about Stree Roga (Gynecology) i.e. "Stree Roga Vimarsha".

This book contains collection of Prasuti Tantra from Ayurvedic literature. The quotes in Sanskrit are followed by its translation in simple language. Along with Ayurvedic description of each topic its probable correlation with Allopathic system of medicine is also given for proper understanding of the topic. It is not possible to give exact comparison as basic concepts of both the system are different.

Language of the book has been kept simple & subject is explained mainly in points, charts & in tabular form. Colored diagrams are given for easy understanding of the topic.

This book is useful for students for theory & clinical aspect both. Prasuti Tantra Sambhandita Pramukha Aushadhi Yoga (special medicinal preparations used in obstetrics) and Yantra-Shastra (instruments used obstetrics) are also described in separate chapters to compliment clinical subject. At the end of each chapter references are given separately.
