Preface

I mastered the great science of numerology a long time back. During my study I found that there was no single reliable source, which could answer most of the questions about this fascinating science. I believe the same problem must be faced by many other students and practitioners of this line.

Therefore, I did some research work in this field to clarify some ambiguity, which existed due to wrongly interpreted concepts and principles.

The ever-increasing number of my readers inspired me to present to them, in a book form, all the pearls gathered by me in the field of Numerology.

This book is the result of my dedication to my sincere readers. I wish that this book provides my readers with lots of information on the subject and also answers some common questions about various aspects of numerology. There are numerous books on the subject and after reading a couple of books with some conflicting views, one easily gets misled and confused.

The science of numerology is not as difficult as astrology but the problem is that one faces lots of confusion as to which system one should follow.

I am sure this humble book will help you easily sort out the things. In other words, ‘it will help you gather gold and leave behind the sludge’.

It is my endeavour to give maximum practical utility to this book by including as many formulae as Possible so that this becomes a reference book on the subject. I am sure you will enjoy reading this book and also find it of utmost utility

Introduction

Can you imagine life without numbers? Starting with the birth of a child, numbers creep in human life in many ways.

The micro and the macro cosmos coexist. And each is dependent upon the other. Astonishingly small as well as exceptionally large figures occur in each of the above mentioned systems and such figures make us wonder at the marvels of nature and the potential of numbers.

Talking about the micro world the smallest unit of all matter is an atom. Atom is so small that millions can be placed on the tip of a needle. Amazing facts even in the macro world wait to amuse our sense of wonder. There are billions of stars in the sky and the Sun is just one out of these. How big is the universe? We know not and yet there are as many universes as the particles of sand on a seashore.

We use metre and kilometre to measure global distances but these units are too small for measurement of distances in space. In space all distances are measured in light years. One light year is the distance traveled by light in one year. We can work it out as follows:

One Light Year 300,000 X 365.25 X 24 X 60 X 60 = 9467280000000 km

The nearest star to earth (other than the Sun) is 4.3 light years away.

All this simply gives an idea about the importance and potential of numbers.

Numbers are just vibrations...

What are numbers? They are just vibrations as every existing thing is. Each number vibrates at a distinct frequency, thereby possessing a distinct character. All sounds are also vibrations; therefore numbers can represent letters of a language. From this we can gather that all names are distinct and potent vibrations. Even in a noisy crowd if someone is shouting your name you become attentive, is it not the potency of your name? It is, and you can’t escape the hidden effects even if you don’t believe in the science of numerology.

Importance of ‘Zero’...

The ancient civilizations, like the Greek and the Babylonian, struggled to cope with the mathematical necessity for representation of an absence of a digit in a number. Ancient India not only gave a true concept of ‘Shooniya’ (zero) for mathematical usage but also developed a philosophical thought signifying the eternal nature of ‘Shooniya’ (zero) by elaborating that the creation comes into existence out of nothing (Shooniya) with the Will of the supreme God and ultimately at His Will, again called Mahaparlaye (destruction), vanishes into nothing (Shooniya).

It is surprising that many books on numerology do not mention much about this eternal number, viz, zero, which in my view is a sacred number and contains the whole philosophy of creation.

There are sixteen chapters in this book. The first chapter talks about the origin and history of numbers in various ancient civilizations. The science of numerology exists because the numbers, through a person’s name and his date of birth, influence his whole life. This topic is discussed in the second chapter.

We need to understand the tools before trying to understand any science. The third chapter describes various data and concepts, which are used as tools in order to apply the knowledge of numerology Single digit numbers from 1 to 9 are called single numbers. Numbers beyond 9, that is numbers from 10 onwards, are called compound numbers. The basic characteristics of single and compound numbers are described in chapters four and five respectively.

The next chapter describes the importance and interpretation of the birth date of a person falling in different Sun signs. Chapter seven describes the Life Path number as per the complete date of birth.

Names are potent sources of lifelong numerological effects and positive changes have been observed in the lives of many who were guided to make spelling changes in their names. Chapter eight describes the method to determine the name vibration and clarifies various points.

Reducing the whole date of birth to a single number gives the life path number of an individual. The ‘Destiny Number’ as described in the chapter nine reveals the life, style of a person.

What is a Karmic (corresponding to the natural system of divine justice called karma) number, how it is determined and what does it signify is discussed in the next chapter ten.

The next three chapters viz. chapters eleven to thirteen describe the methods to predict the nature of a particular day, month or a year respectively for an individual.

Chapter fourteen describes a method to make and interpret a 3X3 square grid, also called a numerological chart.

Chapter fifteen of this book describes a novel method to interpret a genuine query of a person who approaches a numerologist and seeks answer to a question.

Numerical analysis of some famous personalities is done in chapter sixteen which is the concluding chapter of this book.

The aim of this book is to become a source of authentic information on the subject and also give practical methods along with easy explanations so that all can apply the wonderful and sacred science of numerology to bring more prosperity and harmony in life.
