Book Description
About the book

The Path, a story of sadhana written by a French women relates very simply some of the events, signs and meetings that led her, as though invisibly guided, along the spiritual path from France to India.

How she toiled day and night in selfless service of the refugees who were pouring from Paris to its outskirts during the German occupation of France in totally ignorant of India, she came to know about the great modern Indian sages and was guided by destiny to Beloved Papa Swami Ramdas in South India.

How, during her sojourn in India, she was fortunate to visit many Ashrams and places of pilgrimage, particularly Swami Ramdas at Kanjanhad. She could imbibe the teachings of Swami Ramdas merely by listening to him without entering into any discussion. The mantra “Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram” bestowed on her by Swami Ramdas stood her in good stead throughout her journeying all over India.

How, whatever the situation and however formidable the obstacles the mental chanting of the Taraka Mantra enabled her to overcome them, has been vividly described by the author. Her journey took her to the far ends of India in the North; South; East and West and finally to the Himalayas. Her spiritual quest for peace and tranquility brought her in contact with several saints and sages in various parts of the country and she derived immense solace from reciting the Taraka Mantra of “Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram” which she firmly held in the life-time of Swami Ramdas and even after her return of her native France.

As the reader will find this is a tale told from the personal experiences of the author. Spontaneity an sincerely mark the entire narrative and she has told it with such lucidity, simplicity and forthrightness that it is bound to inspire all those who are fortunate enough to read the book.
