Dr Bernhard Fischer, eminent art historian and cultural anthropologist, Director the Museum Rietberg, Zurich, 1972 to when he first went India National Institute Design, Ahmedabad, has continuously worked country. from Gujarat Orissa Himachal Pradesh Kerala. collaborated with many distinguished Indian scholars including B.N. In 2011, he produced film Nainsukh, on the 18th century Pahari painter, directed by Amit Dutta. Dr Fischer was the recipient of the Padma Shri in 2012.
