Although numerous books, both paper II & III for the UGC NET, SLET Examination have been published on the subject of library and information science. Paper II carries multiple choice questions and match making. There are several books prepared to meet the needs of objective question but in this book an attempt has been made to cover all the units prescribed in the latest syllabus of the UGC Net examination. During the preparation of this book there was very difficult task for the selection of the question. Many Questions are coming in my mind and this is not possible to include the entire question. Every time it was desire to go to deliver this matter for printing but mind would feel some inadequacy somewhere after seeing the trends and development in the field of library and information science and being such a state of mind, I come back to myself and after joining a refresher course of library and information science and searching information from internet I added the new question at the last moment. The main Objective of this book is to meet the needs of the NET, SLET, CRET examinees. This will also useful for the student of Library and information science and staff of the Library because of the several forms of question and answer are included in this book as well as multiple choice question i.e. True false, important books and its author, impartment year in the field of library and information science etc. Many Important books and journal have been used in the preparation of this book.
