Nyayasara Vichara is an unpublished commentary on Nyayasara of Bhasarvajua written by Bhatta Raghava. Nyayasara was commented upon by to less than eighteen Commentators. Scholars like MM Gopinatha Kaviraja have felt the necessity of bringing out this text.
It gives me much pleasure to present before the scholarly world a critical edition of this text brought out by Dr. Uma Ramana Jha M.A., Nyayacharya, Lecturer in Darshan of this Vidyapeetha. While preparing the edition he had to consult the MSS of the work lying in the India Office Library, Londan, Sanskrit university, Benares and Patan Library, Nepal.
He has equipped the book not only with the correct text but also with variant readings and has added important indices to make the book really helpful to the scholars.
By this work, Dr. Jha has tried to do service to the cause of Sanskrit Studies. It is up to the scholars to judge the merit of the work.
