This is an interesting novel about Environment especially on trees. If there is no water, there will be no life, in the same way if there are no trees, there will be no life. Life of all creatures including men depend on trees. Trees help to bring rain, take water inside earth through their roots, gives us Oxygen and different types of furniture. Trees play an important role in man's life from his birth to death.
But in this materialistic life man is only after money. He is indifferent towards tress. To fulfill his selfish purposes he is cutting trees without thinking deeply, what he is doing. Infact he is cutting that branch of a tree on which he himself is sitting. Today what man is doing with trees, one day he will ruin himself.
Quantity of trees are decreasing day by day and temprature of the whole world is increasing. Many forests have been cut down by man. It is a subject of great worry today.
In this novel trees are personified. They speak like man. They are worried about their tribe because man is bent on to kill their tribe. Some trees are old a century or more than that. Such trees have seen many ups and downs of the society. They have their own history. They are treasure of knowledge and great memories.
