Sri Bipin Chandra Pal (Famous Indian nationalist leader) :- The presentation of Sri Sri Gurudev's teachings in the form of a diary by my brother disciple Kuladananda Brahmachari is without a parallel. Every one can find the true materials for the formation of his (or her) life by going through this remarkable book. Its translation into all the languages will do immense good to the world.

Foreword
We live in a time when barriers are falling. In the field of culture modern man is no longer satisfied with the narrow limits of exclusive traditionalism and aspires towards an ever broadening universality. In the realm of religion and spirituality a growing awareness is felt that the life of the Spirit is not the monopoly of one tradition or of one group, but that the Spirit, like the wind, "blows where it wills." Those who believe in the Spirit find a great joy in perceiving 'His' mysterious action in the lives of holy men who have been led by 'Him' to dedicate themselves unreservedly to 'His' service. More than mere speculation about the mystery of God's essence the direct experience of 'His' action in the patient fashioning of His chosen ones will reveal the divine reality to thousands of men. And the time has come for the followers of different religious traditions to exchange their treasurers and to enrich and broaden their spiritual outlook by learning to appreciate and admire the wonderful ways of God's grace and guidance wherever He is at work.

Prologue
Nilkantha Srimat Kuladananda Brahmachari was one of the greatest saints of India. From his very boyhood he was endowed with rare virtues, innate excellence and uncommon devotion to truth. He had the rare fortune of building up his religious life under the tutelage of Prabhu Bijaykrishna Goswami. Initiated in his teens, Kuladananda was soon after invested with the solemn vow of 'Naisthik Brahmacharya' and the attire of Nilkantha' by Bijaykrishna himself in the order and process of the highest Aryan tradition. This marked a significant revival in modern times of the best culture prevalent among the sages of old. Bijaykrishna, before his departure from earthly life, nominated the Brahmachari as his spiritual son and the torch-bearer of his religious cult, 'Sadhan'. Thereafter Kuladananda strained every nerve to attain the perfection of self-fulfilment, and, by the grace of his Guru, succeeded in his endeavour in an incredibly short time. He then established himself as 'Sadguru', and was acclaimed by other sadhus of his time as a great religious teacher.
