Agriculture is the backbone of Indian economy it is one of the oldest and most important occupation of man and was adopted for survival and feeding of living beings. Agriculture means cultivation of crops, domestication of plants and cattle raising Thus origin of agriculture dates back of the beginning of domestication of plants and animals. It is not yet known when, where and how the domestication of agriculture, animals and plants was started. Apart from intensive livestock raising or crop production by hydroponics it involves management of soil by tillage or by chemical treatment.
Nature and agriculture are closely related with each other in an agriculturally predominant country like India. The agricultural plan if supplemented by local survey taking into consideration of natural influence of the particular area, may help in raising the agricultural products. Considering the dominant agrarian base of the locality/region, an acute need was felt to discuss and highlight the salient features of the nature which are mainly responsible to influence human life and cultivation of crops.
