This book is a compilation of 25 research articles written by the author and published in various magazines in India and abroad covering prediction techniques from Nadi Astrology and other systems including Gochara, Stellar Effects, Interpretation of Varga charts & Nadi chart, Birth time rectification, Navamsha lords,Benefic & Malefic planets, and Gems etc.

I was overwhelmed, when Sri P.V.R. Rayudu, author of this book asked me to write a forward for his new book "" Though Mr. Rayudu was known to me way back from 2010, when I was studying Krushna Ashtakavarga System (KAS). At that time Mr. Rayudu, after studying KAS made some good analysis in the yahoo group about the system. Since then, I was very much interested in his approach to the subject and had some interaction with him about Astrology in the yahoo group itself. Sometime afterwards I came across his website https://www.rayuduastrology.com and had an opportunity to read his articles which were all very knowledgeable. I was very much interested in his way of approach to the subject and the new principles followed by him. Some of his principles, I have tested in various horoscopes and were found to be correct especially, the timing of marriage using Nadi Principles. Very recently, I requested his permission to include his article on the above subject i.e., Nadi approach in timing of marriage in my forthcoming book. He was very much pleased and gave me the go ahead. From this time onwards our friendship started going deep. When he asked me to write the forward for his book, I was overwhelmed, and I thought here is an opportunity to show the astrological community the other side (probably the better one) of Mr. P.V.R.Rayudu who was a Deputy Director of Defence & Research Laboratory. The non-professional and research oriented scientific approach to the subject of him must be known to all for which I decided to render any help that is possible by me. I must also say here that his various techniques have helped many followers of astrology which is clearly seen from the various accolades he got. The numerous awards that he got is itself a testimony for his profound knowledge of astrology. In one of his articles, he has stated that the 5th house represents thought, 2nd house indicates word coming out of thought and the 10th house defining the deed as a result of the thought and word. Of course, malefic planets in any or all of the houses are going to give adverse effects. But when benefics are there, it will give a good and dharmic thought resulting in sweet words and acclaimed deeds. Jupiter in the 5th house in the chart of Sri P.V.R.Rayudu ensures that his thoughts are all dharmic and ensured through his aspect on 2nd lord that his words are in consonance with his thoughts. The unafflicted Moon, the 10th lord ensures that his deeds will be of soft nature and will be for the public benefit. Mr. P.V.R.Rayudu, though written two valuable books, his articles were only published on the website. Many of the articles were published in various acclaimed astrological magazines also. The approachability to the wealth of information that he has given to the astrological community will be limited if they were only on the website. Hence, when he gave me the idea of publishing his articles, and requested my opinion, I readily welcomed it. On my part I assured him that I will render all help that he needed in bringing them into a book form. So, the new exercise began, and I downloaded, studied, and edited all the articles so that it can be published in book form. I must thank Mr. P.V.R.Rayudu in giving me another opportunity to go through his research work as this work enabled me to study them in detail once again. I am sure that readers will be very much interested in the principles explained by Mr. P.V.R.Rayudu which are logical and true. I have been applying his methodology in various instants like, marriage compatibility, timing of marriage, birth time rectification and Varga analysis. His analysis of Nadi Amshas is a great work and presents a clear view of the subject of Nadi Astrology. As I am younger to him and I do not have the authority to bless him, and hence, I pray God, the Almighty to give him good health and long life so that, we, the astrological community can get benefitted from the profound knowledge that he possesses as well as his further research on the subject.

I have been studying, researching, and practicing Hindu astrology for the last five decades. I was trained directly by late Daivagna Ratna and Vidya Visaradha Sri Divakaruni Venkata Subbarao and my beloved father late Sri Pemmaraju Venkata Rao. I was also trained indirectly by late Dr. B.V.Raman, the famous Indian astrologer, and the editor of the earlier Astrological Magazine by studying all his astrological books and magazines. My non-professional and research oriented scientific bent of mind has resulted in writing two books "How to read a Horoscope-A Scientific method of Predictions based on benefic & malefic analysis of planets & bhavas as per Hindu astrology" and "How to match horoscopes for marriage-A scientific model of compatibility points based on Moon and other aspects as per Hindu astrology" published by M/s Motilal Banarsidass Publishers, New Delhi. I had also written many research articles published in various magazines. My books and articles are well received and reviewed all over the world. Many requested me to publish my articles in a book form so that they will be available for more persons. Thus, this book is formulated. Nadi Astrology is popularly available on palm leaves in South India and the Nadi astrologer after taking the thumb print of the client and after asking some questions from index palm leaves, picks up and reads the correct palm leaf where the client's predictions are written including the client's date of birth, name, parent's names etc. I have consulted various nadi astrologers and written an article "Nadi astrology-An Overview" published by "The Times of Astrology" magazine who had also given me the prestigious Santhanam Award for the best article. In this connection I have also written another article" Nadi astrology for marriage-A case study". Nadi astrology is also known for its uniform and non uniform Nadi Amshas which are 150 divisions of each Rashi. I have prepared the Nadi chart which is 150th divisional chart through my research and interpreted it along with the other 16 Varga charts analyzing the benefic and malefic percentage of planets and bhavas in these charts. It is visualised that the nadi chart is the Seed chart whereas the other varga and rasi charts are Soil and Season charts and if the planets in Nadi chart have more benefic percentage than the other charts then the individual would do well and if the planets in Nadi chart are less benefic than the other charts then the individual has to struggle in life. I have given these details in my articles Note on Nadi Amsha, Nadi Amsha chart Interpretation of Varga charts and Nadi chart and " 16 rare secrets of Varga charts" The transit of planets over the Natal planets and houses in the Birth chart is called Gochara and I have given the interpretation of these transits in the articles "Gochara", "Marriage Age-A Nadi Method" indicating in which age the individual is likely to be married "Life pattern from major planets transits" and "Daily events check with Horary and Natal charts" "Lagnas and Moon Rashis for couples" and "Some predictive techniques" Birth time rectification is very important in preparing the correct birth charts particularly the Nadi chart which is the 150th divisional chart and very sensitive for a variation of 24 seconds time difference in birth time and in interpreting the results. The birth time can be rectified based on day of birth, lagna, Moon rashi, and Sun rise and male/female birth. I have given the best method for birth time rectification based on Tatwa/Antar Tawa Siddhanta consisting of Tatwas of Prithvi, Jala, Agni, Vayu and Akash in my article " Tatwa Siddhanta-Birth time rectification" along with examples and ready-made tables for easy calculation. I have given the interpretation of stars in which the planets are situated in birth chart in my article " Stellar Effects", "Jeeva and Shareera of Grahas" "Horoscope of Swami Jnanananda-A saint & scientist, "The 12th bhava of the two Krishnamurthys-Enlightened thinkers" and "Comments on Twin births". It is said that the past life sins will be reflected in this present life with some planets giving malefic results working angry towards the individual and I have given how to find these malefic planets so that some remedial measures may be done for these angry planets, in my article "Angry Planets". Navamsha Chart is 1/9 th of Rashi chart is very important varga chart and I have given a novel method of interpretation of Navamsha lords in my article "Navamsha lords and predictions". I have written articles "Anukul versus Pratikul Vad" and "Benefic & malefic planets & Gems" to indicate which planets are benefic and which planets are malefic and what gems are to be used for which planets. I have written general articles useful to astrologers and non-astrologers namely "Astrology and Human life", A note on problems in predictions" and "My journey into Hindu astrology' indicating the importance of astrology in human life, problems in giving predictions due to different available systems and my experiences in going through the subject of astrology.
