It gives me immense pleasure to learn that the Department of Advaita Vedanta is going to bring out a volume containing all the papers presented in a seminar organised on behalf of the department from 07/03/2006 to 08.03.2006. Organisation of departmental seminars encourages the students and faculties of the concerned department to get themselves more inclined towards the microscopic analysis of various theories of their descipline. As a result, they get tempted to prepare the research papers and present them before a bigger learned assembly of scholars. This is a very good trend and this requires to be maintained by each and every department.

I wish the department and its publication of grand success.
